The drunken lady talk show host feud is (probably) over! BOO! Chelsea Handler, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb have sucked away our dreams faster than a full bottle of Pinot before showtime! After acknowledging our excitement at the prospect of witnessing snide display of mutual hatred escalate on TV, the ladies have decided to do the classy thing and play nice. Yeah, we're bummed too. Wednesday, The Chelsea Lately host apologized to the NBC duo for instigating this whole thing, telling her viewers: "I have to apologize to the TODAY show because I didn't show up for an interview, and then they saw me on Jimmy Fallon, and they were like, 'What?' And I lied. I've been lying to everyone lately about why I didn't show up. I don't know -- I don't have a good reason. So to Hoda Kota-ba and Kathie Lee Jifford, I'm sorry. I really am sorry. I'm very professional usually but I just couldn't make it." How touching. Kathie Lee and Hoda received Chels' lukewarm sentiment, telling their TODAY show audience Thursday: "There's been an update in the ongoing feud of the century between Chelsea Handler and Hoda and I." After showing a clip of Handler's apology, Kathie declared: "It's half-hearted but at least she's not lying. Apology accepted." Whatever.
